La Mano Fria, born in Queens NYC, has been many things: a graffiti writer, graphic designer/typographer, a record label owner (Miami 1999), often based in South Florida.

As a pioneer in what people now call "tape art", La Mano Fria started using this medium to create graphics as early as 2007, often times creating works interactively with the help of the audience while he simultaneously DJ’d, in live venues and museum studios around the world.
